The Other Half

Everyday I bottle these feelings
and throw them out to sea
but then you blow the gentle breeze
that slowly brings them back to me
so how do i move on
forgetting this part of my life
I start to move forward
but then i rewind

and im going nowhere fast
im caught in the middle
trying to get out of the past
but here i stand
and i can see the other side
it always looks so good
but i cant forget
the other half

I spend my days trying to forget
And never call your name
But, every night i lay my head
My thoughts are still the same
So, how do I move on

You were the one that denied
